[FU 2.3KΩ Potentiometer] - This OEM replacement variable resistor, produced by Favor Union (FU), is designed specifically for analog joysticks made by FU. The 2.3K ohm version is commonly used in some PS5 DualSense controllers.

[Compatibility] - Favor Union (FU) offers potentiometers in two different resistance values, with the 2.3K version labeled as 2K3. Make sure the resistance value matches around 2.3KΩ before placing an order. Note that joysticks made by ALPS are not compatible with FU potentiometers. For controllers such as PS3, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Hori, PDP, and BDA (Power A) that contain FU joysticks, opt for the 10KΩ version.

To simplify this process, desoldering the sensor with 3Pins is more feasible than replacing the entire joystick with up to 14 prongs.

[Replacement Reminder] - To replace the sensor, utilize pliers to detach it from the joystick module. Initially, try replacing the wiper to troubleshoot the issue. Proceed by desoldering the sensor from the PCB, ensuring to clear the holes with a metal pick. Installing the new unit is straightforward, and do not forget to recalibrate the controls in settings post-installation.
